This is a form of make up used to create and fill in the brow area. We will talk with you in great detail about the look you are trying to achieve and what we might recommend to you.
In addition, Carrie is able to carry out both forms of brow tattooing in semi permanent and permanent forms, both at a level 4 level of qualification.
The difference between microblading and digital
Essentially digital tattooing is more permanent than microblading. A digital handpiece is used to enhance or create the hair strokes, whereas microblading uses a specialist blade. The colour and overall look is much denser and more suitable for a larger range of clients.
Being able to combine both methods and having the 2 choices, we can guarantee there is an option suitable for a much wider range of client.
How does it work?
Using state of the art microblading & tattooing tools, tiny precision hair strokes are created by hand, mimicking the natural direction and lengths of your brows. Using these tools, we implant coloured pigments into the the dermal layer of the skin. The sensation is similar to a little scratch but you should not feel any discomfort. The area will look 40-50% darker than the colour you have chosen during your consultation, but this will fade within 3-4 days to reveal your chosen colour.
A second appointment is needed at around 6 weeks after your first treatment, to add more pigment to the brow area. This is because the area is healing and some parts may not 'hold' as well as others and you may have a few patches that need more colour. This is completely normal and everyone heals differently. Colour boosts will be needed between 6-8 months - this will depend upon the client and client aftercare.
